Find a Realtor!
As a Realtor for 15 years, I know the level of service many people need. Not only does a good Realor do a terrific amount of research for her clients, she or he can provide a lot of information on financing, inspections, market trends and more information that you ever thought necessary. I never want my clients to lose sleep over any of this so I am available virtually 24/7. I am up for Jay Leno and if they are biting their fingernails, I want them to call me.
Experience is worth its weight in gold as an experienced agent has been “through the trenches” and will know a lot about lenders and how to help you in a dozen different ways should the need arise.
A Realtor with some experience is a problem-solver to the max and someone you want in your corner, especially if you are a first time homebuyer. I have saved transactions from falling through many times. Sometimes it is as simple as finding a different lender with a different program, or in-house loans or a contract investor for them.
Whatever is needed I have provided for my clients.
Ask questions as you seek out an agent but do get someone to represent you on your side.
Buyer-agency protects you and the agent by declaring your loyalty to each other. Good stuff. Ask the people you interview if they do “Buyer Agency.
